When packages are upgraded, new default configuration files are installed with a \fI.new\fR suffix to avoid overwriting locally modified files. \fBupdateconf\fR helps merge, discard, or keep these files. .SH USAGE .LP \f(CRupdateconf\fR .PP Must be run as root.
